Mister X and his charming friend…
Glimpses of life on Commercial Drive. Vancouver. ©Pierre Le Provost
I met Mister X and his snake on Commercial drive. He kindly let me take few pictures with the Rolleiflex Automat 4KA(from 1952), and, once more, I am really impressed by this camera. We are lucky here in Vancouver to have a dedicated and passionate Rollei repair specialist (Factory trained), Horst Wentzel. He made a complete C.L.A and change the focusing screen on this Rollei and it’s now again a joy to use…
The only drawback on this old lens: they are really prone to veiling flare so always use a lens hood !
